I’m the owner of Yong-In Master Lee’s Tae Kwon Do East Boise.
When I was a child, I began my martial arts journey and the positive impact it had on my life was remarkable. It was always my dream to someday open my own school and pass on the skills, knowledge, and inspiration the martial arts has given to me.
Now, I proudly serve the Boise community and feel an overwhelming sense of pride and humility when I see our students grow into happier, healthier, more confident children, teens, and adults!
Head Master Wi
Master Subong Wi is a world-class Taekwondo instructor and 6th Degree Black Belt certified by Kukkiwon, known for his exceptional skill, technical expertise, and dedication to teaching the art of Taekwondo.
As a former member of the Korean National Taekwondo Team (2015) and bronze medalist at the 2015 World Cup Taekwondo Team Championships in Mexico City, Master Wi brings true international experience to every class he leads. A multiple-time Korean National Champion, Master Wi earned both his M.A. and B.A. in Taekwondo from Yong In University, one of Korea’s most prestigious martial arts institutions, where he was awarded a full four-year athletic scholarship.
He also proudly represented his country as a Sangmu athlete in the Korea Armed Forces Athletic Corps, further shaping his leadership and discipline. With over eight years of coaching experience in Manhattan, New York City, Master Wi has inspired countless students to achieve confidence, strength, and excellence both on and off the mat.
His teaching philosophy blends elite-level training with an encouraging, student-focused approach, helping people of all ages unlock their full potential through the power of Taekwondo.

Our Taekwondo schools are considered to be some of the top training facilities across the country. We use Olympic quality mats and state of the art equipment that is continuously evaluated for safety. Our schools feature both men’s and women’s changing rooms and a viewing lobby for parents and families to observe class.
