This is Master Lee, and I’m very PROUD that hundreds of families all over the Boise area are singing the praises of our programs and telling their friends and neighbors how much of a positive impact it’s having on their lives. Our students are surprised by how easy it is to get started, and delighted that they don’t have to be “already in great shape” to truly enjoy their new classes. Parents who enroll their children are amazed at how patient and genuine our instructors are, and how quickly their child makes observable improvements in their level of focus and confidence!

Physical and Mental Development
Our members tell us that our school is more of an institution of self-improvement, physically and mentally, rather than just a gym or some “activity.” It feels like a family. We concentrate on building the whole person: Physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and socially.
I pride myself on helping our adult members safely build lean muscle, quickly burn fat, gain flexibility, and relieve stress in a FUN, positive, and injury-free environment!
And for the children, parents all over the Boise area give my martial arts classes credit for increasing their child’s ability to focus in school and at home, building their self-esteem, and igniting a passion for self- improvement they never would have expected.

Dorothy Hight2022-05-13Yong-In Master Lee’s Taekwondo (both East and West Boise locations) is awesome. My grandson started in 2014 when he was 6 years old. Initially he wanted to check it out thinking it would be fun. We wanted to see if it would bring him out of his shell. It did that and so very much more. Through his classes and teachings each week he has learned self-confidence, determination, perseverance, and composure. He has learned he has strength, stamina, and composure. They teach that effort and practice brings positive results. They teach patience, build esteem, confidence, respect, discipline, and active listening. And they do all of this with true kindness and caring for the kids. They raise the bar so one continues to grow as a student and martial artist. In the middle of all the craziness going on with the pandemic, they have constantly kept the health and safety of their students as a top priority. The measures they have taken during and between classes gives many of us parents the confidence to bring our kids back in for the exercise and personal interaction they desperately were needing. TKD is not about the belt ranks, state competitions, or awards; rather, from my perspective it is “character development.” People enroll in TKD for many different reasons: to get in shape, increase flexibility, self-defense, and mental discipline or simply being a part of a family. And family is what you get with Master Lee’s Taekwondo. Master Lee and Master Mia share their passion and it shows in the kids. They have (and their instructors) been a great influence on my grandson’s life from a very young White Belt and now a 2nd Degree Black Belt steadily climbing towards his 3rd Degree.
